Mangaluru: ICYM Angelore Unit Organizes Pilgrimage Visit - 2022

Mangaluru, Apr 04: ICYM Guardian Angel Church , Angelore unit organized a Pilgrimage on April 3 to Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi as part of the spiritual renewal preparation during Lent.

Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest of Mother of sorrows Church Udupi welcomed ICYM members, with a prayerful message to the Youth.

The day began with the Mass, followed by Way of Cross, adoration and confession led by Fr Ashwin Aranha Assistant Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows church Udupi and Fr Johnson D’souza, Principal St Mary’s English medium School.

Around 25 ICYM youth from Angelore spent time with devotion and prayer. The youth also visited churches around Udupi that included Stella Mary’s Church, Kalmadi; Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perampalli and Mount Rosary Church, Kallianpur.

It was indeed a great experience of spending the day with prayer and visiting the churches, which are unique in their ambience of spirituality.

Fr William Menezes, the Parish Priest of Guardian Angel Church gave them wholehearted support for the Pilgrimage. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish priest and Renita Menezes YCS animator accompanied the Youth for the Pilgrimage.
