Udupi: Splash 2022 organised by St Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle

Udupi, Apr 19: 'Student life is very important. The educational institutions have put in lots of efforts to guide the students and train them for the last two years. The learning will go smoothly by the next academic year. The summer camp organized by the St Lawrence PU College in Moodubelle is a good initiative. May the students get the needed information, training and guidance through this camp, said Dr Gerald Pinto, retired principal of Milagres College, Kallianpura.

He was speaking after inaugurating “Splash 2022’, a three days summer science camp organized by St Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle at the college auditorium on Monday, April 18.

Edward Larson D’souza, principal of the college, presided over the programme.

Ln Valerian Noronha, president, Lions Club, Moodubelle , Br Philip Noronha, senior head teacher, Kannada medium high school and Ln Eliaz D’souza were present as the chief guests of the occasion.

On the first day of the camp, resource persons Dr Gerald Pinto, retired principal, Milagres College, Kallianpur trained the students on the topic ‘Career Guidance’ and Suchith Kotian on the topic, “Personality Development and Leadership."

On the Second-day, Glen Rebello, an alumni of the school will present a drone show and will teach cooking without fire and preparing posters.

Joseph D’Souza, physical education director, welcomed and Glenisha proposed a vote of thanks. Prerana compered the programme.
