Mangaluru: St Antony Ashram entrance dwara inaugurated

Mangaluru, May 24: It was a joyous moment for everyone at St Anthony’s Jeppu as the important project, The Arch Mahadwara was inaugurated on Tuesday, May 24.

Fr JB Crasta, director of St Anthony's Ashram welcomed the gathering.

Bishop of Mangalore diocese, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated and blessed the Dwara.

 

Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha, in his presidential address appreciated Fr Onil D'Souza, former director for the tremendous good done at the ashram. With the intercession of St Anthony and the leadership of Fr Onil D'Souza, a couple of projects were successfully accomplished. The bishop wished Fr J B Crasta for all his future plans at the ashram with the intercession of St Anthony.

The bishop felicitated Alice Rebello for sponsoring two statues and Richard Rodrigues, proprietor Velankanni Construction for the design and building of the Dwara.

They were all in praise for the wonderful works happening at the ashram by the grace of God and the unceasing intercession of St Anthony.

Fr Larry proposed the vote of thanks. Fr Rupesh Tauro compered the programme.

Fr Victor George, Fr Thrishan D’Souza, Fr Francis D’Souza and Fr Rohan Dias were on at the occasion.
