Mangaluru: Customs officials seize Rs 29.12 lac worth gold in international airport

Mangaluru, May 29: The Customs officials at the international airport in the city confiscated 560 grams of gold worth Rs 29.12 lac in the market and arrested one person in this connection.

On Saturday, a passenger, resident of Bhatkal, who arrived from Dubai was caught by the Customs officials.

He had kept 24 carat gold that was converted into paste and pill form of packs ina his rectum.
