Mangaluru: Cash stolen from parked bus - Video goes viral on social media

Mangaluru, Jun 14: A video showing a person stealing cash from a parked city bus at State Bank stop in the city has gone viral on social media.

The said bus runs between Uppinangady and State Bank bus stand. The bus was parked as the driver and conductor had gone for lunch. It is said that a man who entered the bus stole the money kept in the vehicle. No passengers were there in the bus when this incident is said to have taken place.

The act of stealing money is recorded in the CCTV camera of the bus and it is gathered that the money that was kept in the bag by the conductor is stolen by the thief.

The police said that no complaint is filed in this regard.

    First of all negligence of the conductor to leave the cash bag in the bus & go for lunch. Next must be this thief is watching the moments of the conductor it can be Conductors routine to leave the bag& go for lunch

    In this case the conductor is equally responsible... Prompting a thief is also a crime in small sense... It is the collections for the owners and his responsibility to safeguard... Total negligence... Lucky they have CCTV... Looking at the thief money may get evaporated by the time anyone catches him... Plus he will get free food and accommodation for some time...
