Bengaluru: Justice Bhimanagouda Sanganagouda Patil appointed state Lokayukta

Bengaluru, Jun 14: Current deputy Lokayuktha and former judge of high court of Karnataka, Justice Bhimanagouda Sanganagouda Patil  has been appointed the Lokayuktha of the state by state governor Thawarchand Gehlot as per a notification issued on Tuesday, June 14.


 
Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai had recommended deputy lokayukta Justice Patil's name after consulting the chief justice of high court of Karnataka, chairman of state legislative council, speaker of state assembly and opposition leaders of both the houses of the legislature.

    there was attempt on the life of earlier lok ayukta... which was hushed... pls investigate the same.... why a murder attempt was not investigated on the life of Lok Ayukta.... why it was put under carpet....

    Lok Ayuktha is toothless -- even the infamous mining scam -- nothing much happened -- although Justice Hegde and his Team did a wonderful Job--BJP leaders got framed -- incl former CM -- nothing much has happened ---- An unbelievable half a million tonnes iron ore shipped -- illegal-- -- belekeri - port - seized ore itself was later stolen etc etc -- the report runs into thousands of pages but in the end -- it was like NO ONE KILLED JESSICA -- THE GREAT KARNATAKA TRAGEDY -- ALL HOLLOW SOLGANS -- NAA KAUNGA etc --
