Bengaluru, Jun 15: Karnataka on Wednesday Jun 15 registered 648 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 3,997. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 615.
The death toll in the state has risen to 40,067, one death reported on Wednesday.
The state recorded 532 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 39,13,885.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,57,991 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.44%, case fatality rate at 0.15%.
So far 11,05,33,835 people have received vaccination so far.
