Mangaluru: Police arrest prime accused in rowdy sheeter Raja’s murder case

Mangaluru, Jun 16: The police have arrested Naveen, a prime accused in the murder case of rowdy sheeter Raja alias Raghavendra, in Baikampady on Wednesday June 15 and produced him to the court.

There are eight criminal cases against Naveen including three murder cases pending trial. He is reported to have hatched a conspiracy to kill Raja and killed him using lethal weapons before escaping from the scene, according to police sources.

The police have so far arrested 12 persons in connection with the murder of Raja.
