Mangaluru: Workshop on ‘Preparing Effective Curricular Pedagogy’ held in Carmel School

Mangaluru, Jun 22: Preparing Effective Curricular Pedagogy, a workshop was conducted by Dr Rose Kiran, assistant professor, St Ann’s College of Education (Autonomous) for the faculty on June 16 and 18.

Dr Rose Kiran in her inspirational session stressed on Meaning of Pedagogy, Characteristics and Aspects of Pedagogical Analysis, Pre-requisites of Lesson Planning and various Approaches of Lesson Planning. She enlightened the teachers on writing lesson plans using Herbartian Approach, Chaithanya Method and Bloom’s Taxonomy Based Plan or Evaluation Approach.

Application plans:

On the whole it was a superb presentation with vivid explanation and teachers were given ample time to clarify their doubts.

The session was compered by Akshatha and Vindhya.
