Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School organizes session on leadership for excellence

Mangaluru, Jul 25: An informative and educative session was organised at St Agnes CBSE School to the cabinet and the deputy leaders of grade IX and X on July 12 on the topic Leadership for Excellence with enthusiastic participation from the students.

The resource person was Vinatha K, sssociate professor department of Psychology at St Agnes College Mangaluru, who captured the young minds through this influential session and preparingthem to be excellent leaders of the future.

The session was packed with powerful videos, thought provoking activities and meaningful words of wisdom from the speaker. Some key educative message given to the students were: A leader should always think out of the box, has to be a role model, should always be positive and an approachable person, should be an honest and a truthful leader was encouraged. The emphasize on time management, team work, communication was stressed upon. The most important factor that is action speaks louder than words was highlighted and ability to admit the mistakes was stressed too.

The session was compered by Anya of grade X,teacher Josephine welcomed the gathering and Mahima Saldana of grade X proposed the vote of thanks.
The management congratulates the principal and staff for organising this session and wishes good luck for future sessions.
