Kannada Sahitya Parishat chief Dr Mahesh Joshi gets state minister status

Bengaluru, Aug 3: The State Government has conferred Minister of State rank to Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr Mahesh Joshi.

Dr Joshi, has in a press release, profusely thanked Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for granting the status of State Minister to Kannada Sahitya Parishat president for the first time in the history of the 107-year-old organisation.

The conferring of minister of state status to the Kannada Sahitya Parishat is an honour to all Kannadigas and the members and office-bearers, Dr Joshi said.
