Mangalore: National Homeopathy Conference on Paediatric Health Begins at Father Muller

Mangalore, Oct 13: A two-day national Homoeopathic conference on Paediatric Health Care was inaugurated in Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on Saturday October 13.
Speaking on the occasion, guest of honour Dr S K Nanda, director, National Institute of Homoeopathy expressed the need for systematic approach in management of paediatric cases. As homoeopathic medical science has shown a definite scope in managing various paediatric health problems, it is time to take on the challenges, he added.
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, FMCI, presided over the function. He stressed on need for a collaborative approach of various systems in the management of Paediatric cases.
Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College explained relevance of the theme “Paediatric Health Care” in this century. He also pointed out at the responsibility of health care professionals in dealing Paediatric cases. Dr Srinath Rao, principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, welcomed the delegates and Dr Sunny Mathew, organizing secretary delivered vote of thanks.
The two-day seminar will focus on paediatric health care with the help of eminent resource persons namely, Dr Praful Barvalia, Dr Parinaz Humranwala and Dr K Varadaraj Shenoy.
