Recipes - Coconut Chutney

Ingredients:

1 grated coconut

A large bunch of coriander leaves

4-5 green chillies

Salt to taste

1 cup curds

3 tbsp. roasted gram dal

 

Seasoning:

2 tsp oil

½ tsp. mustard seeds

1 tsp urad dal

2 sprigs curry leaves

 

Method:

Grind the coconut, coriander leaves, green chilly, gram dal and salt to a smooth paste.  Beat the curds smooth and mix in the ground paste.  Heat the oil, add mustard, curry leaves and urad dal.  Fry for few seconds. Pour  this over chutney and mix well.
