Recipes - Cantola Fry (Paglam / Mada Hagalakayi)

Ingredients:

3-4 cantolas ( Spine gourd)
3 tbsp. of chilly paste
½  cup rice flour
½  tsp. ajwain.
Salt as per taste.

Method:

Clean and  scrape the spines of cantolas and wash well.  Cut them into medium thick slices.  Add chilly paste and ajwain and set aside for 15 minutes.  Dip in rice flour on both sides  and shallow or deep  fry in hot oil.
