Kundapur, Oct 13: Supreetha S Shetty (53) has filed a case of cheating against her husband Belanje Shivananda Shetty and his family members in a police complaint.

In her complaint, Supreetha said she married Belanje Shivananda Shetty in 1993 and lived together for 13 years at Kabbinaale of Madamakki. Later, she separated from her husband and has been living in Perampalli of Udupi unable to bear the harassment meted out to her and his immoral relations. Supreetha, who has two sons, alleges that her husband did not take care of their children or the family.

In her complaint she said her husband had cheated on her by selling the property without her knowledge. Without divorcing her, Shivananda Shetty had even married for the second time, which Supreetha said was abetted by other members of his family.

The Amasebail police have registered a case of cheating against family members Shivananda Shetty, Sujatha Shetty, Anasuya Shetty, B N Srinivasa, Arundhati Shetty, Balakrishna Shetty and Susheela Shetty.
