Bantwal, Oct 15: The tahsildar’s village stay programme was held at Kukkipadi gram panchayat auditorium here on Oct 15.

Bantwal tahsildar Smita Ramu who inaugurated the programme said that the village stay programme is held so that the grievances of the people can be heard and the solutions can be provided on the spot. People should make use of the opportunity, she said.

Gram panchayat president Sujatha R Poojary presided over the programme. Panchayat development officer Tulasi, gram panchayat vice president Yogish Acharya and Taluk health officer Dr Umesh Adyantaya were on the dais.

Revenue officers, officers from various departments in the taluk and gram panchayat members took part. The tahsildar listened to the grievances.
