Mangaluru: Catholic Chamber of Commerce holds talk on Law of Succession, Inheritance

Mangaluru, Oct 17: Rachana, the Catholic Chamber of commerce held a talk on Law of Succession and Inheritance by advocate David Pais on October 16 at Eden Club.

Pais explained on various laws involved in this matter. He informed that making a death will is advised and better than having complications after one's death. He also explained how we Catholics are bound by Indian Succession Law and how it works. David also in detail explained the ratio of inheritance to spouses, children and immediate family members. How gifting property works.

It was a very informative and interesting session. The programme began with a prayer. Rachana president Vincent Cutinha welcomed the gathering. C A Rudolph Rodrigues introduced Adv David Pais to the gathering. Rachana secretary Lavina Monteiro proposed vote of thanks.

Member Royston Pinto compered the programme. There were around 70 members and family members, invitees and guests present. The meeting ended with dinner
