Mangaluru, Oct 17: Sauharda Friends circle Amtoor held a blood donation camp at the Mother of God School, Amtoor under the cooperation of Indian Red Cross Society in memory of Sharif who passed away in an accident recently.
Badriya Juma Masjid Khateeb Mustafa Sahadi inaugurated the programme. Fr Paul Pinto, of Mother of God Church, Mogarnad presided over the programme.
Manoj Kumar Kattemar of the Mantradevata abode, Amtoor, Dr Yashukumar D, professor of Mangalore University, Emiliana D’Cunha and Abdul Razak Amjadi, teachers of Mother of God school and panchayat member Raghava Poojary were present.
Asif Amtoor welcomed the guests and rendered a vote of thanks. 110 units of blood was collected from people across religions.
