Kundapur: S M Waseem Basha takes over as president of Jamia Masjid

Kundapur, Oct 19: “We should solve our problems among ourselves and be a model for the society, '' said Udupi district Wakf advisory committee president Abdul Sattar Mutalib Vandse.

He was speaking after handing over the authority of Jamia Masjid to the new president and the office-bearers for the term 2022-25.

He congratulated the new office-bearers and said that they should work in harmony avoiding differences among them.

S M Waseem Basha who was elected president of the new Jamat took charge of the Jamia Masjid. He assured that he will unite all the office-bearers, obtain their opinions and serve.

Abu Mohammed Mujavar was elected as vice president, Shams Tabrez as secretary and Shanawaz as treasurer. Nawaz J K, Mujavar, Ashfak Ahmed, Shaikh Fareed, Ilyas, Nawaz, Abdul Majeed, J Mohammed Ameen, Ayub Koya and J M Ashfak took charge as members.

District Wakf advisory committee president Abdul Mutalib Vandse was felicitated. Udupi district Wakf committee officer Aboobacker Saheb, Mujahid Pasha, Kundapur Jamia Masjid administrator H Meera Saheb and others were present.

Abu Mohammed welcomed. Aseem compered the programme.
