Mangaluru: Karnataka Bank wins 3 National Digital Transformation Awards

Mangaluru, Oct 20: In a function held at New Delhi on October 18, Karnataka Bank is awarded with the prestigious National Digital Transformation Awards ‘DX 2022 Awards’ conferred by Confederation of Indian Industry [CII] for Best Practice in Digital Transformation under BFSI segment in recognition of the “Innovative Excellence” in three categories viz. ‘KBL HR NxT - Employee Engagement’, ‘KBL Operations NxT - Operational Excellence’ and ‘KBL Customer NxT - Customer Experience’.

Expressing his satisfaction, Mahabaleshwara M.S, MD & CEO, said “the wholistic transformation journey ‘KBL VIKAAS’, launched by the Bank in the year 2017, has built a strong foundation for digital transformation. As digital is the way forward, under wave 2.0 of ‘KBL VIKAAS’, Bank has placed digital banking on fast forward mode and ‘KBL NxT’ concept was launched in the year 2021 with an objective to eventually emerge as the ‘Digital Bank of Future’ ”. In ‘KBL NxT’ journey, Bank is focusing on digitization under various verticals viz. Customer Experience, Operations, Human Resources, Technology, Cyber Security, Digital Marketing, Partnerships etc. and digital transformation has started paying huge dividend to the Bank. It will continue to be a win-win situation both for customer and the Bank. In this connection, I also laud the efforts of IT and Transformation Teams of the Bank”
