Bantwal, Oct 20: “BJP government has increased the price of reflector stickers to thousands of rupees and is affecting the livelihoods and looting the poor vehicle drivers. Violent protests will be held in front of the RTO office if it is not stopped,” warned former minister B Ramanath Rai.

He visited the RTO office at Melkar and held discussions with officers over the compulsory reflector stickers and urged them to give up the insistence.

“The agencies are giving a bill after issuing the sticker that does not have any connection with the department. Poor vehicle drivers are tired due to price rises and broad daylight looting should be stopped. Protests will be held in front of the RTO office if it continues,” he warned.

Baby Kunder, Sudeepkumar Shetty, Subhaschandra Shetty Kolnadu, Abbas Ali, Padmanabha Rai, Lokesh Suvarna, Mohan Shetty and others were present.
