Kundapur, Oct 21: Karnataka Bank MD Mahabaleshwar Bhat who wrote a new chapter in the banking sector has been selected for the prestigious Panchavarna Rajyotsava award. He will be conferred the award with a silver panel during the silver jubilee celebrations of Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala under the title of Kannada Rajyotsava near Amrutheshwari temple, Kota on November 15 and 16.
He will be presented Panchavarna special award by Samradhi Mahila Mandala Cherkadi, Brahmavar, felicitations by Arjun Bhandarkar, head of Save Life Charitable Trust, Mangaluru and Niswartha Seva Trust, Kota and another award by Samradhi Kundapur, recipient of Drama Junior award.
Scholarships to Kannada medium school, monetary help to poor patients and uniforms to students will be distributed during the two day long programme, said the mandala president Amrath Jogi in the press release.
