Mangaluru: Sandalwood star Shiva Rajkumar visits Kuttaru Dekkadu Aditala

Mangaluru, Dec 10: Shiva Rajkumar, renowned Sandalwood actor offered prayers at Kuttaru Dekkadu Aditala, one of the seven Talas of Kuttaru of Koragataniya Daiva.

Shiva Rajkumar also visited Sri Panjandaya Bunta Vaidyanatha Bhandaramane and offered prayers.

Speaking to reporters after the visit and prayers, Shiva Rajkumar said, “Koragajja’s worship simple without any huge celebration. I feel happy after visiting this place. We have prayed with our family. We see honest prayres here.

“Actress Rakshitha made me aware of Koragajja Katte. I have visited several temples whenever I visited Mangaluru. But never knew about Aditala of Koragajja.

“Shooting of many of my movies has taken place in Mangaluru-Udupi area. But now time is ripe to visit Aditala of Koragajja,” he said.

Hereditary administrative trustee of Sri Panjandaya Bunta Vaidyanatha Koraga Taniya adistala Dekkadu Kutharu B Sridhara Shetty Maganthadi, Moolyanna Balakrishna of Sri Kshethra, Dev Pandeshwar, wife Geetha Shivarajkumar, daughter Nivedita, Deviprasad Shetty Maganthadi, Preetham Shetty Maganthadi, Mahabala Hegde Maganthadi, Manoj Hegde Maganthadi, Ranjit Sulaya Maganthadi, Swathi Shetty, Shoba Rai Maganthadi, Vidyacharan Bhandary, Vaishak Shetty, Srirama Rai, Jagannath Shetty, Manojchandra Shetty and Timmappa Poonja were present.
