Mangaluru: Quarry, stone crusher operation to stop throughout Karnataka over govt’s fine collection

Mangaluru, Dec 24: Stone quarry and crusher activities will be stopped throughout Karnataka in protest against the decision of government to collect fines from the owners of stone quarries.

In a press conference, Manoj Shetty, president of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Stone Crusher association and Ravindra Shetty Bajagoli, state president of Federation of Karnataka Quarry and stone crusher association president said that the activities will be stalled till the matter is resolved.
