Mangaluru, Dec 25: Former MLA and Congress leader Mohiuddin Bawa said the recent killing of another innocent youth in Surathkal is an indication of the failure of the state BJP led government.
Reacting to the murder of Muslim youth Jaleel in Surathkal, Bawa appealed to the citizens to maintain peace and not react to social media trolls or rumours that will create unrest in society while at the same time cooperating with the police in conducting peaceful inquiries.
Bawa appealed to the police to conduct a thorough investigation at the highest level and identify the guilty by bringing them to book at the earliest.
He said the incident had shown the ineffectiveness and the failure of the state government and the home department.
