Puttur, Dec 27: A man is arrested by Puttur women police station personnel on the accusation of sexually harassing a girl.
The arrested accused is Thakiyuddin, a resident of Kavu Lubaba Manzil. He was friend of father of the victim. He used to visit the house of the victim frequently as he was her father’s friend and was speaking freely with the girl. He had tried several times to sexually harass the girl at her home.
On November 10, when the girl was walking towards bus stand in order to go to school, accused asked her to board his bike forcefully, took her to some deserted area and sexually harassed her as per the complaint filed in women police station.
