Udupi: Foundation stone laying ceremony of annexe court complex to be held on Dec 30

Udupi, Dec 28: Foundation stone laying ceremony of new annexe court complex including long standing demand of bar association of the district to have a lawyer’s hall, mediating centre and other facilities will be held on December 30 at 10.30 am under the joint aegis of Udupi district judiciary, PWD and Bar association of Udupi. This information was shared by B Nagaraj, president of Bar association of the district at a press conference in the city that was held on December 28.

Foundation stone will be laid by Justice Abdul Nazeer, judge of Supreme Court. Justice Prasanna V Varale of Karnataka high court will preside over the function.

Senior judge of high court and president of working executive of Karnataka state legal services authority B Veerappa and another judge of Karnataka high court S G Pandit will participate as special guests.

Justice S Vishwajit Shetty, Justice C M Joshi, Justice T G Shivashankare Gowda, minister for fisheries, ports and inland transport S Angara, minister Madhuswamy and registrar general of Karnataka high court Muralidhar Pai B will be the chief guests.

After the stage programme cultural programme will be presented by lawyers, staff of court and students of Vaikunta Baliga Law College.

Vice president B Dinesh Shetty, chief secretary Ronald Praveen Kumar, A Sankappa and member of executive committee Ashidullah were present.
