Bidar, Jan 2: The JD(S) Pancharatna Yatra will be touring the entire Bidar district from January 5 to 8 with party’s floor leader in assembly H D Kumaraswamy and State JD(S) chief C M Ibrahim and other party leaders, JD(S) Deputy Leader Bandeppa Kashempur announced on Tuesday.
Addressing media persons in Bidar on Tuesday, Kashempur said Kumaraswamy
and other leaders will be addressing public meetings in different assembly
constituencies and halting in villages as part of the Grama Vastavya programme every day.
Kashempur said JD(S) is preparing itself for the coming assembly polls with a clear agenda and target to win 123 seats unlike ruling BJP and Congress, which were busy attacking each other.
The JD(S) is taking up the Karanja project displaced farmers plight and also the concerns of various other sections of society, he said.
