Police Raid District Jail Again, Search for Weapons

Mangalore, Jun 1:
Mangalore city police on Wednesday June 1 carried out a raid on the district jail claiming that prisoners who were under trial were in possession of weapons.

However, no weapons were found by the police. The operation was led by Mangalore city sub-division ACP Ravindra Gadadi.
 
Two mobile phones and one SIM card along with five chargers and four packets of ganja were seized from a prisoner accused in a murder case.
 
Earlier, on May 18, in another raid operation two packets of ganja and two cell phones were seized by the police.

    Ur comment makes me wonder whats the link between finding ganja in prisons and Congress ruling India? When we have BJP in karnataka.BJP in mangalore.

    India after independence 55 years out of 65, ruled by so called secular party Congress. They need all the same, no difference between Poor & Rich, Higher & Lower cast, No Religion, no diff. between common people and culprits, all are equal. Only Vote they need. becoz of that our country reached this stage... 2G. CWG. Sonia G, Rahul G. Rajaa G, Kannimozhi G. We should respect all.

    In India jail is like a five star hotel. All facilities free, admission fees as applicable. Payments thru swiss bank only and no receipt will be given!
