Mangaluru, Feb 10: The fifth day of novena preceding the feast of relic St Anthony was held at Milagres Church - Jeppu.

The theme for the day was 'Encourage Each other,and Speak Good words'. The novena mass for the relic feast of St Anthony held at Milagres Church was celebrated by Fr Joseph Martis, parish priest of Derebail was the main celebrant for mass. In his homily he spoke on the theme by highlighting different examples. "Faith grows in good words, should encourage others to do good, when somebody does good encourage them. When someone does wrong correct them. Through our good words we develop we develop talents," the celebrant said.

Fr J B Crasta, Fr Rupesh tauro, and Fr Larry Pinto con-celebrated the mass. At the end of the mass Fr Larry Pinto conducted the novena in honour of St Anthony during which special prayers were offered for all consecreted religious men and women. St Agnes choir group sang and joined in thanksgiving.
