Gangjee Zooms to Top-10 at Nationwide Golf Event

Raleigh (USA) Jun 11 (PTI) Rahil Gangjee turned in a brilliant finish with four birdies in last four holes to zoom to the top-10 after the second round of the Rex Hospital Open Golf tournament on the Nationwide Tour here.

The Kolkata golfer, playing his rookie season in the USA moved to six-under 136 and tied 10th place. The card of five-under 66 was his best this season.

Gangjee, who is looking to settle down at the highest levels in the game, opened with a birdie but then had a string of pars till the 11th and spoilt by one bogey on eighth.

A birdie on 12th changed things and then from 15th to 18th, he went on an overdrive with four birdies for a stunning five-under 30 on the back nine.
