Kundapur, Mar 3: “Priests and religious heads of respective religions should understand the message of eradicating hatred and lighting love, that is prophesied in every religion and try to convey the same to the society. Then only peace will prevail on earth,” said Naufal Sakhafi Kalasa, president of Diskra education centre Moodbidri.

Naufal was speaking after inaugurating the renovated Badriya Juma Masjid at Siddapur in the taluk.

Speaking on the occasion, administrative trustee of Kamalashile temple Sachidananda Chatra said, “The message given by all religions is the same. There are countless Muslims and Christians who have given donations to Hindu temples. When we tread together, life becomes beautiful.”

Parish priest of St Anthony Church Kerekatte Fr Sunil Veigas said, “Messages should not be limited only to the dais. They should be implemented. Then only harmony in society will prevail.”

Janab Abdul Munir, K Gopal Poojary, Abdul Majid Chowdhuri, Haji Ummer Saheb, Janab Altaf Hennabailu, Irshad, Mustaq, Shekhar KUlal, Jayaram Bhandary, Sanjeeva Shetty, Mohammed Saheb, Abdurrahman rizwi and others were present.
