Mangalore: Coast Gets Good Rains

Mangalore, Jul 4: On Sunday July 3, Karnatka coast got good rains during the morning and again at night. Almost all the places in the coast got good rains, although in varying quantities. Kollur in Kundapur taluk registered 13 cms of rain.

The average rainfall in the coast ranged from four to six cms. Comparatively, Beltangady, Kundapur and Bantwal taluks registered less rains. The meteorological department has predicted rains in the coast and some regions of the hinterland during the period till Tuesday morning.
