Bangalore: Examination Adalat to Resolve University's 4,000 Pending Cases

Bangalore, Jul 5: Dogged by repeated troubles in its functioning, Bangalore University (BU) will hold an Examination Adalat to resolve the 4,000 cases over issues of faculty marks cards, wrong names and non-declaration of results.

Retired high court judges will be scrutinizing the procedures of BU to reduce the delay in resolving cases and to bring transparency.

BU vice chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev said that BU wants all the cases to be diposed off in three months. Decisions taken by the Adalat during this period will be binding on the university, students, colleges and other stakeholders.
