Mangalore, Jul 5: An accused in the advocate Harish Rai murder attempt case, Umar Farooq was produced in court on Tuesday July 5. Umar is the close associate of Madoor Isubu.
The Bunder police had arrested Umar Farooq who also is an advocate himself for his alleged involvement in attempt to murder Harish Rai. He was traced at an international airport on July 4.
Earlier, during an interrogation of Madoor Isubu, it came to light that Umar Farooq had fled to Dubai. Isubu was arrested recently.
Police kept a close watch in all the international airports and arrested Ummer Farooq when he landed in Bangalore on Sunday July 3.
He was then handed over to the Mangalore Police who carried out an interrogation and produced him in the court for hearing.
