Udupi, Jul 10: The Temple of Riches in Kerala has become the centre of all attention, and every little news related to the temple has been making headlines. On Friday July 8, the people of Udupi had a chance to come face-to-face with none other than the Queen of the Temple's royal family herself.

Queen Gauri Laxmi Bai, member of the former royal family of Raja Marthanda Verma of Travancore and one of the trustees of Thiruvananthapuram Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple visited Sri Krishna Mutt here on Saturday July 9.

The visit has created much interest and media buzz given the treasure, worth over Rs one lac crore, found in the secret vaults of the Temple. The news has been creating headlines worldwide, and the Temple is now one of the riches in the world.

The fortune is expected to see a five-fold increase, when cellar B is opened. Currently, the Supreme Court has ordered that it will be opened only after the inventory of the treasure found in cellar A is done and proper security is put in place.

"The wealth found in Thiruvananthapuram Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple belongs to God, we have no interest in it as God has given us enough wealth. But I sincerely hope that it does not go to the government, and even if it does, I hope adequate security is given to the treasure.  The welath belongs to God, should remain with God, and I hope it will remain there. I am here to pray for the same," said Queen Laxmi Bai to Sri Laxmivara Thirtha Sripada Seer, the head of Sri Shiroor Mutt.

Later, speaking to the media, she said, "This is not the first time I am visiting Udupi. I am a regular visitor and people here know about it. I do not want to comment on Thiruvananthapuram Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, as the matter is in the court."

Other members of the royal family visited Mookambika Temple in Kollur, Sharadambe in Sringeri and Sri Krishna Temple in Guruvayoor to offer special pujas.

In Thiruvananthapuram there are four royal families, and Queen Laxmi Bai is the wife of the second king of the erstwhile Marthanda royal family. Her husband who was on a visit to Shringeri is now on his way to Kollur. The Queen has left for Kollur to join her husband.

Mr. Stan, Udupi/Abu Dhabi. I would like to correct Your commands on giving Bharath Ratna awards for the honesty and integrity of royal family.

I think they should be punished, for not using the wealth for the welfare of the people of that time, these treasure were hidden from the public for their personal gain. Those days people of Kerala were facing poverty and scarcity of food because of World War I, the royal family has hidden the treasure and they have taken Padmanabha swami temple as a shield to protect the wealth.

Those days Royal family had gathered this much amount of wealth form people of Kerala through tax and other sources so this money belongs to people of Kerala, God don’t need money what god will do with the money?

DEMANDING A SHARE OF THE PADMANABHA SWAMY
      TEMPLE COMPLEX EXCAVATIONS

For thousands of years the consistent trade winds of Arabian Sea passed by the beautiful beaches of Kerala. The leaves of the coconut trees on these beaches made a mistake by inviting the passing dhows and sail ships. The Portuguese, Deutch, French and the English made their fortune through these shores. Now the mantle bearers of the invaders of our country must be wondering as to how the Padmanabha Swamy Temple treasure was left out.

The Malayala Acharies or Vishwakarmans who lived in the erstwhile states of Malabar, Kochi and Thiruvathancore had immense knowledge of Indian traditional science and technology. Each and every Achary (form all five lineages of the Vishwakarman creators) of the pre-brick and mortar era bears a history and a text could have been prepared from the activities of each one's life from the age of 12 he started his profession with his Guru. Everything made in Stone, Metals and Wood in the foregone era was their handwork. The temples, churches, mosques, palaces and all other magnificent structures standing mighty across Kerala are living examples for that. The glittering ornaments, statues, idols, armaments, machinery, equipments, sculptures, paintings and thousands of other items that were created till the establishment of an engineering college are the creations of this people. They never tried to document it, as there was no such tradition for doing that. They never tried to stake a claim on it and a Keralite won’t ask for proof for that. He never demanded a credit or recognition for it. He built it and walked out of the place with a sack of tools on his back with his Sishyas, sticking the tip from the betal leaf, received as Dakshina, on his cheek. If he received any cash as Dakshina, it was the tradition to donate it to the temple hundi for the day-to-day expenses. Instead, he only retained the Dhoti and prasadam (tied in his uthareeyam or angavasthra). That was the tradition of the Muni Parampara – which was followed by Acharies and Ammals from all the five sects of the Vishwakarman lineage.

Anybody who had a civilized roof over their head was constructed by the Vishwakarmans. The architectural excellence, the engineering brilliance, the scientific superiority and the technological knowledge they had is still amazing. The westerners, who ignorantly professed superiority over all this, present a bewildered look at these creations when they visit our country and silently agree that our civilization was more advanced than theirs. The abovesaid items were created without the help of computers, blueprints drawings, sand models and sketches and without modern tools.

The Indian civilisation is the most ancient civilisation and certainly more than 10,000 years old. Max Mueller, who was the creator of Aryan Invasion Theory in 1,500 BC had himself realized the improbabilities and rejected it. During the British Rule, India

"The wealth found in Thiruvananthapuram Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple belongs to God"

The God of any religion surely does not need wealth! Moreso when millions of 'God's' creations starve because of a lack of wealth.
