Bantwal, May 6: “All the candidates who contested in the election against Congress candidate, former minister B Ramanath Rai are outsiders. Rai knows all the corners of the constituency. He calls and speaks to everybody. Voters have the responsibility to make him win again,” said former MLA KPCC vice president K M Ibrahim. He was speaking in the news conference held at the election campaign office of B Ramanath Rai.

“Rai responds to all the invitations for programmes. I request the voters to elect the candidate of such simple calibre,” he said.

KPCC member Pius L Rodrigues, district chief secretary Shabir Siddakatte, scheduled tribes unit district president Narayana Naik, ladies wing president Jayanti V Poojary, former president of municipal council Joswin D’ Souza, Abbas Ali, Mohammed Nandarabettu, Lolaksha Shetty, Jacinta D’ Souza, Parameshwar Moolya, B Mohan and others were present.
