Beltangady: Dharmasthal Kshetra to Provide Furniture to Schools of Chitradurga Dist

Beltangady, Jul 11: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthal, here have planned to provide 850 desks and benches for state-run schools in Chitradurga district in collaboration with Chitradurga district public instruction department.

Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala had already provided 3,748 each desks and benches to 625 state-run schools in collaboration with Chitradurga district public instructions department in the past three years, while it would largely improve the basic amenities in the schools.
 
Chitradurga ZP convinced of the success, reserved Rs 15 lac in their budget to provide desks and benches in collaboration with Sri Kshetra Dharmasthal and sent a proposal to Kshetra to bear equal amount. 

Sri Kshetra Dharmasthal Dharmadikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade after the review, approved the proposal to provide 850 each of desks and benches in this academic year.  Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) will carry out the proposal to supply desks and benches to respective schools.

Sri Kshetra Dharmasth had so far provided 33,606 each of desks and benches including the abovementioned proposal at a cost of Rs 10.57 crore to 5579 schools in various districts across Karnataka.  It has benefited 2 lac students, stated the press release issued by SKDRDP.
