Bengaluru, May 15: Caretaker Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday visited the RSS headquarters in Bengaluru, Keshava Krupa, and held talks with RSS bosses on strengthening the defeated BJP in the State.

Talking to media persons after the meeting with RSS leaders in Keshava Krupa, he said the poll results had been discussed with the RSS leaders.

“We held a detailed discussion on how to organize and strengthen the party in the coming days,’’ he said.

Bommai said a decision will be taken after holding several rounds of discussions with the State party president and the high command regarding organizing the BJP.

Replying to a question, he said a meeting of the elected MLAs was not convened as it will be held by the state party president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He declined to answer questions on whether the State Party Chief will be replaced. “All these things will be discussed and decided by our party high command,’’ he said.
