These projects mostly remain on paper until the promoters get an Investor who brings in equity at a huge premium. This is really the case, as I have been approached by few of the companies who own land at Ganjimutt Export Promotion Park. They are valuing the land value to 3 to 4 crore per acre for their projects and trying to sell the equity. This is the simple and time proved way to make money at the expense of the poor land owners who sold their land at 15 to 20 lakhs per acre.
