Beltangady, Jun 29: A 29-year-old youth ended his life in a private lodge in Ujire here on Thursday, June 29.

The deceased is identified as Karthik hailing from Shivamogga. He ended his life by hanging himself.

The mortal remains were shifted to a mortuary in Beltangady.

The incident took place under the limits of Beltangady police. The exact reason behind Karthik’s extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
