Such incidents happening every now and then in and around our Coastal region send a chill down our spine. Reading about these incidents makes us over cautious about our children going on outings / picnics at the beaches.

I really wish there was someone elder to these boys to prevent them venturing into the water. The sea is very inviting but people should heed the advice of the fishermen / local folk around the area who warn the revellers - I am telling this from my experience. this will avoid untoward incidents.

City folks especially students tend to ignore these admonitions of the fisherfolk and the locals who are well aware of the moods of the weather and the sea as they wrestle with these elements daily.

Precious lives are lost and we can only pray for the repose of the departed Souls and stregth and courage for their respective families to cope up with this tragedy. Hope such untoward incidents do not repeat.

It is very sad News… So many drowing news since 2weeks in coastal district. Even after knowing the hazard & danger ,youths just jump in to water , then they realize they d’t know swimming .This happens because not respecting elders warning/safety warning or overconfidence when youngster go on such tour. Also during monsoon the water pressure is so high that even skilled swimmer can not escape if caught in high current.
