Kundapur, Jun 30: “BJP should have won in Karnataka as per our expectations. However, we have lost in the assembly elections. It is true that there are chaos within the party after the defeat. But we will not get disheartened and will organize the party once again. None of the party workers should feel dejected,” said MLC and former minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Poojary spoke to media after inaugurating the new MLA office in Kundapur taluk panchayat building.

Kota further said, “The leader of opposition is elected not to follow the orders of ruling party. But for opposing the anti-people policies of the ruling party. Opposition leader will be declared on the day of the assembly session. Ruling party need not worry on this.

“Union government is freely supplying 594 lac quintal rice throughout the country. Accordingly, Karnataka is also getting 22.5 lac quintal every month. Tamil Nadu is getting 34 lac quintal while Kerala gets 14 lac quintal. All other states are agreeing that union government is giving the rice. However, chief minister and deputy chief minister of Karnataka are saying that union government is not giving rice,” he said.
