Kundapur, Jun 30: “Kiran Kodgi is elected as the MLA of Kundapur as the heir of former MLA Halady Srinivasa Shetty. He is less spoken, good activist, servant of people. As he has got good rapport with people, the constituency will develop,” said former MLA B Appanna Hedge.

Appanna spoke after inaugurating the new office of MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi in Kundapur taluk panchayat building on Friday.

Former minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said, “Kiran Kodgi is treading in the footpath of former MLA Halady Srinivasa Shetty. He has opened the office in the busy area of Kundapur. It will be easier for public to approach him. Let this office form a compliment to the development of the constituency.”

Kiran Kumar Kodgi said, “Though this is the office of MLA, it is just like a government office. People can come here and get their issues resolved. I am available here every Saturday. Rest of the days two Personal assistants will be here and listen to the woes of public.”

Kadur Suresh Shetty, Rajesh Kaveri, Suresh Shetty Gopadi, Sathish Poojary Vakwadi, Bhaskara Billava Herikudru, Sampath Kumar Shetty, Ramesh Shetty, Gautam Hegde, Sadananada, Shashidhar Shetty, Srilatha, Bharathi and others were present.
