Puttur, Jul 3: A case is filed in Sampya police station on the father of the groom missing from the previous day of the wedding.

Ummer, a resident of Kumbra Olamogru, is the person who is missing. He was at Puttur till 3 pm of July 1. Later he went missing and his mobile phone was also switched off. His son’s wedding was fixed on July 3 and the Madarangi ritual was fixed on July 2. Now the marriage is called off as Ummer is missing.

A missing complaint is filed by the family members. Police have started a search based on the mobile location of missing Ummer.
