Bengaluru, Jul 3: Senior Congress leader and former minister T B Jayachandra, Sira MLA, has been named as the Congress government’s Special Representative in Delhi.

The post carries cabinet status and perks.

The ruling Congress party has also named Congress MLA Ashok Pattan as the Government’s Chief Whip in the State Assembly while Saleem Ahmed will be enjoying the similar post in the Upper House, both of which are of minister ranks.
