Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (TP)

Udupi, July 27: The political act of making students responsible for their childish act is reprehensible and legal action must be taken against spreading falsehood and hate news on video shoot incident in a college washroom,” Yaseen Malpe, president of Udupi District Muslim Union.

Yaseen Malpe also condemned the spreading of false and hate news on the video shooting issue. “The statement given by state leaders of opposition party and leaders of different associations and their attitude towards the issue is provocative with an evil intent,” he said.

Talking about the institution, Yaseen said, “The irresponsible and childish act of the three students of the institution has been carried out responsibly and prudently by the institution. The students have been warned and suspended for their irresponsible act of fun by the institution. The institution has acted with responsibility taking into consideration safety and future of the students.”

“Akshay Hackay Machindra Superintendent of Police (SP) along with his department looked into the issue and cleared it on spread of false news. But the incident has been given a communal and conspiracy twist by the BJP MLAs, party leaders and leaders of different associations resulting in disturbing the peace in Udupi district. The police department must take strict action against people who blame a particular religion and act against Rashmi Samant for spreading false news and fanning it into a nationwide issue,” Yaseen Malpe said.

“This incident is a warning to all parents and young people who indulge in social media and uploading of reels. Making the community they belong to responsible for the incident should be condemned.” Yaseen Malpe said.
