About St Agnes Special School
Giving a brief history of St Agnes Special School, it was founded in 1970 by Sister Maria Jyothi AC, a compassionate member of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. The school started with only four children and has since grown to accommodate around 300 students with its motto "In Love we Grow."
As the first school of its kind in the district of Mangaluru and Udupi, St Agnes Special School has played a crucial role in rehabilitating hundreds of children with disabilities through its various programs, including Early intervention, Academic, Pre-Vocational, Vocational, Home-Science, and Computer Training.
With St Agnes Special School completing 53 years of service, the school continues to seek support from the public and well-wishers to carry on their vital work. Those willing to contribute can contact the school office at 0824 244 3376 or Sr Shruthi, the principal, on 9741150669.
The school urges people to remember the spirit of giving and invites donations to make a difference in the lives of these special children. As true neighbors and caregivers, let us support St Agnes Special School in their mission to nurture and educate children with special needs.
