Mumbai: Tulu Sangha Baroda commemorates India's 77th Independence Day

Mumbai, Aug 16: The Tulu Sangha Baroda marked India's 77th Independence Day with fervor at the Tulu Chavadi auditorium in Baroda on August 15.

The dignitaries on the dais included the honorary president of Tulu Sangha Baroda, Shashidhar B Shetty, president, Balakrishna Shetty, secretary, and Balachandra Gowda, treasurer.

Joining the event were Rakshita, Vice President of the Children’s Wing, along with Madhava Shetty, Sathish Shetty, Mahaveer Jain, and Dinaker Shetty. The program was skillfully conducted by Dr Sharmila Jain and Manjula Gowda.

Vaishnavi Shetty extended the warm welcome, while Kushal Gowda and Prapati Shetty adeptly compered the proceedings. Mithali Gowda, secretary, proposed a vote of thanks. The event showcased a distinctive patriotic program presented by women and children.

The annual meeting, held prior to the celebration, was chaired by Shashidhar B Shetty, the president of Tulu Sangha Baroda.
