Tehsildar Mr. Ravichandra Nayak: If you have the guts and you are honest as you seem, then lets see you take up some demolition of illegal properties of rich and powerful people.. If you do so, then I believe you are a great man. Otherwise, you just wanted some bribe and because you did not get it, you cleared the house of poor people.

Good work done by the great Tahasildar and his team. Can you take such initiative for giving free sites for poor? I am sure that those houses getting built by poor muslim families who earn thier livelyhood by fishing, and You govt people keep on squeezing poor and culprit of making terrorist. Instead of solving their problem amicably dont try to kill them Mr Tahasildar.I am sure that by this time you are the owner of 4-5 bungalows.

Illegal construction whether it is a house, apartments or commercial buildings all should be illegal from the point of view of M.C.C. Why only poor people are targeted by the authorities & demolishing their houses? M.C.C. team must go from street to streets in M'lore and identify how many houses, commercial buildings & Apartments are there in Mangalore constructed by violating the norms. There are commercial bldgs in & around M'lore city where cellar space meant for parking is used as shops/offices. So my appeal to M.C.C. is that please apply the same yard stick to all without any discrimination.

Name of the organisation is immaterial to me one can call them naxalite, maoist, I donot give damn.

These government official will bulldoze the houses of poor people. They don't have any guts to demolish the illegal structures built by the the so called Tier-1 builders of Mangalore.
More than 70% of basement parking are used as shops but they don't dare to evacuate them.

We have a rather strange system. Some of the times certain irregularities of this sort could ironed out using a tool called 'Akrama - Sakrama'. Other times leave it to the mercy of bulldozer.
